Kylie, THE showgirl!

It's been three days since I went to the Kylie-Showgirl concert and I'm still on a high. Certainly made it the best bank holiday of my life, and allowed me to delve into my camp side.

From the moment Kylie came on stage, opening with 'Better The Devil You Know', to the moment she left (two hours and two encores later) me and my friend Wendy were up dancing and singing along with the rest of Earls Court. No one (except the two grumpy old gits next to me) wanted it to end.

Still now I'm finding it hard express how I felt for those two hours. It didn't seem real.....I was actually there....After a seven month wait...singing with/along to Kylie in all her camp pop glory! Still got the marks on my arm from Wend gripping me so tight. The girl's still got it!

Think the best part for me, apart from the (male)dancers in the showers/workout room, was her comming out of the stage on a crescent moon and singing 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' (Stereotypical I know). The moon slowly rises as the song goes on, glides forward across the stage and puts her down on the walk way in the middle of the crowd. Kylie then goes into a slow version of 'Come Into My world'. I got the shivers!
