Blimey 2008!

A very very belated happy new year! Blimey it's been a while...Kept meaning to come back and post but just kept being pushed to the back of my mind.

I was gonna post about new years, new beginnings blah blah blah then I decided no point. It's the same each year, I'm gonna sort this, I'm gonna do this. If it don't happen you've set yourself goals and let yourself down. I still know inside what I need to achieve and do and it's an on going thing...just sets me off keep writing it.

The only thing that I will write about the past month or so is that none of it seemed any different than the rest of the year. Maybe it's because I had been working more and perhaps because the mood at home hadn't been particulaly festive, I dunno. It was a nice couple of weeks but nothing I really thought 'WOW' about...never mind. I guess aswell It's normally the time when I get together and see the majority of friends but this year there were a few missing.

So anyway...I've been an usher at my friends wedding. Think Ash and I did ok, well nobody has mentioned anything bad about it so guessing we passed. With one rehersal and a biggish list of who was sitting where and what pews to keep free we handed out button holes, dished out orders of service and directed people out of the church to the best of our abilities. The day went without a hitch, we ate, we drank, we danced.

We even managed to eek out the Christmas festivities for an extra week and went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, London. Was a nice day with Geraman markets, big wheels, carousels, big slide and a haunted house (they need to work on their scare tatics!).
