An old friend

Saw a friend today that I haven't seen for months. Kept meaning to text her, maybe even actually pick-up the phone, but never actually did it. Wish i had done, cos otherwise you've gotta do the whole 'I meant to txt/ring but didn't cos I could't be bothered' kinda excuse. Plus she's been a great friend in the past and I can always talk about anything with her.

After a while it was fine, we were chatting away like old times. Her familly, stuff she had done, my holiday, stuff i'd done. Then she left.

Apparently we are going to go out one evening. Will it happen. I dunno? From past experinces something always seems to happen and it never goes ahead.
