Stupid question of the day - 21/02/07

I had two that were pretty close contenders but now I can only remember one. The worrying thing is this comes from a person I work with.

Nat: "This 20p looks funny."

Me: "It's from Jersey."

Nat: "Oh. That's up North isn't it?"

The fact that it's South England and just off the North Coast of France seem to really surprise her!

I admit my geographical knowledge isn't that great but even so. The worry thing is 10 minutes later she then proceded to list the countries bordering Kazikstan (don't ask). Her answer? "She's not patriotic about her own country." !
